Café Co-ordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Cafe Coordinator to join our welcoming team at Highfield Park.  This rewarding opportunity will play a key role in bringing our on-site café to life. You will help create an inclusive, warm space where our residents can engage and connect whilst enjoying your home-cooked food. Your role would be at the heart of Highfield Park, helping to shape experiences that make a real and lasting difference to the lives of the people we support.

40 hours per week, 5 days, Mon-Fri

£28,985.19 - £30,140.49 (Dependent of Experience)

As our Cafe Co-ordinator you will:

  • Develop promotional strategies to encourage resident interaction and engagement in the café.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, staff, families and visitors.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to feedback and complaints.
  • Develop menus and special events that reflect resident preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Foster a community-focused atmosphere within the café that encourages our residents to visit.
  • Promote independence and social interaction for all residents.
  • Manage day-to-day café operations, including preparation of all food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and food quality are consistently provided.
  • Monitor stock levels and accurately order food provisions.  Ensure all stock levels and checked at the time of completing orders to ensure over or under ordering Is avoided. 
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times, ensuring the residents and staff visiting the cafe are safe at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safe hygiene practices.
  • Manage cash handling, POS systems, and daily reconciliations.
